We use a UV stable polyurethane resin with a 6-10mm aggregate supplied by Derbyshire Aggregates to install attractive highly permeable Tree Pits without the problems of vandalism and litter.
We are also the main contractor who fill “Green Blue Urbans” tree pit trays. These are picked up at their warehouse and filled in our workshop using a variety of different coloured stone. These can range from large 1500mm square trays to .750mm trays and are very much state of the art. Green Blue Urban are the market leader in Europe in this field and we are proud to be part of it. Last autumn they gave us the order to fill 37 large tree pits 74 half’s that weight over 120kg when filled. We gladly took on the challenge and moved our operation to their huge facilities and completed the order in time.
So even when the weather is stopping progress outside Star Surfacing can be found busy inside our nice dry workshop.
